Jack Hurt and the Living Dead


Story:

Jack finds himself in grave danger, when the apartment building he lives in gets infested with zombies. Him and the girl next door, Starr Jensen, have to find a way to stop the infestation from leaving the building, and without being eaten alive.

Anyways, it looks interesting. The story is a bit cliched... but that's not necessarily bad if executed right. It looks like it may be interesting, but I wouldn't mind a few more details. Is it supposed to be a horror game? A comedy?

Haha, I didn't think about it but I can see now that it does resemble it.

As for the genre, considering the cartoony graphics it might be a little comical but mainly horror. And what's a Zombie game/movie without a cliched storyline  But I'll try to, as you said, execute it right.

I would rather it wasn't comical (maybe with funny parts) but predominantly serious, due to the severe lack of any horror games.

Boy don't you just hate it when you wake up in the morning and your apartment building is infested with zombies? LOL

Will it be possible to die in this game? I like to know before I play it so I can brace myself. Games like that make me a bit jumpy LOL.

Yes, I plan to have it possible to die. Also I'm going to try and work in a gun and and maybe a cricket bat    I'll update the main post soon with more details.

It looks really nice! The story kind of remind me a little bit of "Silent Hill: The Room"
where you have to "save" the nice neighboor  8)

I hope there will be a really scary music behind for the atmosphere

I agree with Hammerite, I would love it to be an uber creepy game  Something that will make me jump out of my chair!

Anyway I like the graphics, and the SotD reference. I'll definitely play it when it's out!

No, no, those games were about an angry spirit, a god of pain and possesion...um possessing...uh just dead bodies getting possesed.

graphic is not bad and not good. It may be for me. Story - hehe resident evil? xD And the scene with blood on button in the wind i think i saw somewhere.... but I forgot where. Looking nice! I'm waiting for full version ^^

PS. It may be atributte of FPP or FPS games but... it will be possible to kill zombies? Hehe, you know, in RE you used guns or other stuff (like fist xD). And zombies will be following us? ^^ That should be nice.

This looks and sounds like it'll be awesome. I love zombie games!

I can't wait for this to be released. I love the graphics. Will you have your own cursor graphics too later on?

I'd also like to see it be a freaky game, something that'll make me all tense and nervous and then jump the socks right off of my feet.

Anyway, good luck with finishing this - this is now #1 on my "can't wait to play" list...
