Production is a little slower than I hoped. I've had some family problems but I'm still working on it :)  I had all kinds of Ideas but it started to turn into a shooter, so I have to restart my brain to think adventure again lol. I've worked on a couple of zombie animations, none i'm too happy with enough to post. But I'm playing with some Ideas on that point. Bare in mind this is my first public game so it's not going to be much greater than the one's I'm hording (which I'm still playing around with and might release). But I'll have a zombie for you soon!

Also, I don't know how scary I can make it. But I'll try my damnedest.

Thanks for all the support!

EDIT: Yes I'm also working on customs cursors   ;D

The Suitor

Sorry for the double post, but I finally uploaded a video of a zombie.

Cool video, it means we get to run from zombies!!!
Wow! :)
Keep going, nice work
Working on a RON game!!!!!

Afflict

Looking good the video made me LOL :D Loved the Knife in the head :D and the zombie eating him :) Don't zombies normally go for the brain?

The Suitor

I'm more of a Romero fan, whom zombies go for the warm flesh :) I think the guy who made Return of the Living dead (whom co-wrote the original Night of the Living dead with  Romero) his zombies go for brains and can't be killed.

But I'm glad you all enjoyed it  ;D

Doors to outside and to wind are.... bugged? They're bad painted. Look at the upper part of those doors... repair it ;) It must be painted something like that: / or that: \
If you like any game makers, writ in your browser those tags:
RPG maker
Game Maker
Adventure Maker
Of course there are many more programmes to making games, but i prefer them + AGS ;) First is to making RPG games, next to ANY games and last is able to make Adventure Games (many is type: Escape the Room).

Wow, those zombies remind me of the vampires in that poorly made xbox 360 game, Vampire Rain.  For the 360 they were poorly animated as they ran to attack you, but for AGS, good work!

ShadeJackrabbit

Looks great! Awesome zombie eating. I think the animation should jump slightly less though. Maybe have the zombie smack Jack down to the floor before eating him.

Wow! I hope there's lots of zombies to kill in this, I like action/adventure hybrids.

The Suitor

Yes, the zombie eating animation is a bit jumpy. Right now I'm just focusing on technical stuff, such as scripting and piecing things together. Later, I'll work out the fine details. Anyway, this thread has inspired me a lot to keep going! Thank you for all the good comments.

This looks very nice!

Can't have enough zombies in games!

I will definetly try it when you release it.

Snake

Sweet video!

Finish finish finish finish finish!

Do you have a time where it might be close to finished?
Can't wait for this!

I'm hoping to have it in beta stage by mid-summer. I've taken a break from it for the past couple of days to refresh my mind, I've been paying too much attention to the scripting and getting aggravated with it.  (plus my eyes hurt from staring at the screen for so long). But, I've planned to finish rest of the graphics before going anymore into scripting.

About the graphics, I have about 5-10 different zombies to draw and about ten more rooms. Also, a couple of secondary characters. Still have to write a more detailed story and an ending. A load more objects and puzzles. Then comes the fine details.

I'm a slow but steady worker. It might take me more time than a normal medium-length game would to make, considering my wife and daughter. But my spare time goes into this, so I'll have it finished sooner or later  ;D

Darcness

Ah yes! Zombies!

This game looks like it could be a heck of a lot of fun, and there just aren't enough horror-based AGS games out there.

I shiver in antici...............pation.
