Has nobody worked out this is an April Fool. The page states: "Page design and layout used on a temporary 24-hour basis under Fair Use provisions". Which means he is allowed to use M$'s layout, design images etc without authorisation for the purpose of the jole.

Did you not get the "Full Ochestrated Sound" and "FMV". There is even another thread in the forum about April Fools jokes.

I think the idea is just too silly to be true. I mean Steam and MS are big commerical companies. They are only out to make money. You have to admit that adventure are not so populair anymore (commercial games). Why would they want to invest in something they can't sell very well?

Well I didn't sign up to try and let people know it was a joke(oh and I didn't know work it out at first) but frankly it was not funny and don't you guys care that there were actually people that were sucked in and really worried about this, or do you find that funny too? Stop going overboard with the jokes, the Playstation one was funny but freaking people out isn't!

I wasn't referring to you actually, I was talking about the bevy of people who signed up to just post how it's an April Fool's joke (you can see "Posts: 1" [or another small #] under their nickname).

And even though I was probably as angry as you were worried, I don't think this joke was overboard. Chill! All's well that ends well  after all

If CJ and the regulars here have a tradition of writing April Fool's day threads, we're not amused by having total strangers showing up being hellbent on ruining it for everybody else.
No, nobody cares the slightest that people got "worried" for some hours. If people were so severely shocked by this, just send me their medical bills.

At first I also thought that it was true and I was totally dissapointed and in absolute panic! But then, after calming down a bit, and thinking a bit, I realized what a nonsense this kind of thing is. The concept actually denies the AGS existence. And no one here (or even CJ!) would allow to kill this community like this.

I think anyone can work this out after a while (if I have done it? lol) and there is no point in stopping these kind of jokes. When its the April 1st and a thread like this pops out, I am sure that just anyone can work this out after a thought or two.

Last years announcement that AGS and Wintermute teamed up to form a 3d engine was believable, this was not.

Still funny though. Although I was annoyed I couldn't find the Games Page at first.

Actually no I didn't.
I got completely fooled on this one and I don't mind admitting it. :
When I opened AGS site and it had changed and then found out what was supposedly happening I was extremely miserable and annoyed!
I haven't touched my comp all day until now and boy do I feel stupid.

Anyway all is well with the world again. And infuture I must remember April 1st and CJ's humour!
I can now sleep soundly.

Finally the site returned for normal. And yea, this was a bad joke since it was basically the same April Fool's joke used last year except that it wasn't with Microsoft, it was with Sony. Nice effort in changing the site though. Don't repeat the same joke.
