Art from Terra Incognito

Hey all. Just thought I'd show some of the art I've been working on for "Terra Incognito", an AGS Horror adventure I've been working on in my spare time over the last two years. The game itself is far from finished, due to time restraints and hectic working hours, but luckily I'll be able to continue with it again soon.



This is a wallpaper featuring two of the main characters, Sarah and Alex.

I like the style looks good.

Only thing, I found it very hard to notice the pupils and iris of the victims eyes.  If you could possibly lower them just a tad, I feel it'd be a bit more affective.  Or if not lowering them, try adding some redness at the bottom, nearer the back of the eye.  I don't know.. really.. I just find myself staring at the eyes wondering what happened to them, until I notice the tiny sliver of the iris.

Not my favourite combo, but I guess it's pretty.

Erm, not sure about it, but is there a special meaning for the tile being "terra incognito" and not "terra incognitA"? I've seen the version with an o at the end on several places throughout the net, but technically it's wrong.

Hehe. Yeah. I'm not a 2D artist, so 3D is what this game will be. And as for Goth, well it is a gothic horror. Literally.

Yes, actually the reason why it's called Terra Incognito instead of Terra Incognita is because of an inside joke of this particular Paranormal Studies group, which will be revealed in the first chapter of the game.
