So my sweet las Azadeh decided earlier this spring that going to Spain would be a natural step towards becoming fluent in Spanish.
Who do we call?
Our man in Benidorm, of course, Nacho AKA Farlander AKA "you are very smart".

Nacho translated Aza's CV, arranged a job in a nearby bar and provided free (!) accommodation in one of his parents' apartments in down town Benidorm. He was furthermore very helpful in various matters, and Aza hung out with his family a lot.

I visited them last week, and there was much joy.

Some photos from a nice excursion to an old village in the mountains.

Heeey! I saw my name in gen gen, in spite of the boring "AGS stickam room"! What a nice surprise, Petter, grazie mille, but don' t spread this too much, people will start to ask me favours, and I have a bad reputation to keep! ;) We will talk via msn to get the rest of those pics, amigo! :) If the other appartment is empty, you will be allways wellcome!  :D
Are you guys ready? Let' s roll!

Hey, I have written a 700 paged novel and it needs to be translated into Spanish. Can you do me a favour, Nacho?

After dinner, I have time to post again... sorry for the first rushed post.

Having Azadeh here has been extremelly easy. She is very polite and funny... As an example of what kind of girl she is, when Lore and me were helping her to make the packing (We had to sit in the suitcase, as usual) I told her "Hey, you are forgetting to pick that 2-euro coin" and she replied that the coin was originally there... She hasn' t been able to pick the money for an ice cream!  :D I would have done it, I must confess.

Having Petter here has been nice too, it' s been very inspiring that him, after scouting how my countrymates manage with English, recongised that my English is good compared with the average level . ^_^

As I mentioned to her, it' s been good for Azadeh's Spanish that her first visit to Benidorm has been here, since it's almost a piece of England in Spanish territory, a good opprotunity to learn lots of words, since almost everything is in billingual. Next year, when you aim for a more "pure" spanic town for learning the grammar, I will try to help again.

EDIT: Gord... no. I don' t speak Turkish.  ;D

Nacho, mi amigo!!

I'm coming to Benidorm sometime this year (after Mittens of course)!!  As long as we can take that road-trip up to Barcelona!

Also ... yes indeed Nacho is amazing friend!  He is one of the few AGSers I've actually met, we chat on MSN all the time, and he is teaching me to speak Spanish as well (and tolerating VERY well my inability to conjugate freakin' verbs!!!)

Now he just needs to get his ass in gear and make a damn game!!!

Ah yes ... and where there and flurry chapels in the suitcase with you my friend ;)

Sir, are you attempting to smuggle a body in this bag?

In case you didn't get it Nacho, the word you clearly meant is "on", as in "[on top of] the suitcase", versus "in" which could be taken as "in[side] the suitcase". However, I stake no claim as to the normal body-smuggling customs of Spain! :=

Nacho

Ohhhh! Now I get it!  :D I was mad googling for suitcase images in google, thinking that the goof was there! ^_^

Thanks Monkey! :)

We can sum another "Ringo style" typo in my scoreboard!

That looks like a lovely town.  Makes me want to visit Spain.  My cousin went this year, and said it was awesome.  It was his favorite stop on his European Holiday.
