I spoke to the superintendant, who wouldn't let me without a search warrant.  So I got a warrant to search Elkwood's flat.

type in SEARCH WARRANT on computer in your office.  That will give you address for the court, where you can ask the judge for a search warrant.

Great game.  I have been able to get into the apartment and checked all the rooms and found nothing except what was on the table.  I can not do anything with it, and the sheriff is still at the scene.  Can someone help me?

I have gotten to the part of the game where I need to type in the computer,but after the search box pops up,I can't type anything in the search engine. What am I doing wrong? Also,once the search box comes up I can't move.

Strange... I could only reproduce this behaviour by keeping the CTRL key down. Might that one be stuck? CTRL-M should take the input box down.

It's correct that you can't do anything else when that box is visible.
