Is the first time I speak at this post, but a RPG project like this seems to me the best I ever seen in non-adventure use of AGS.

I love the classics first person RPG (eye of the beholder, realms of arkania(!!!!), lands of lore, Ishar (!!!).

I hope there will in the game all the factors of the classics rpgs, apart from combats, as lot of conversations, subplots, deadends, health (feed, illness..)...

There are class and hero selection or only default, like Lands of lore?

There will probably be about a dozen classes in the game. Food and disease are both a factor in gameplay. There's also a fair bit of exploration going on; most of my games tend towards non-linearity anyway. That obviously implies sidequests.

I'm not sure what you mean by dead ends, but if you mean "situations from where you can no longer finish the game" then the answer is no, there aren't intended to be any of those. If you mean "mazes with deathtraps", then yes, we will be having that. It wouldn't be much of an RPG otherwise, no? :)

well, by dead ends I don't say obviusly adventure dead ends xD

But a RPG is not a RPG if you can go to the last maze with a piece of chiken and no ropes! xD

It sorta reminds me of a game that I cant remember the name of.
it was on the demo disk I picked up Exile on.
Dammit!
I'm rambling again!

Heh.  This looks pretty cool and innovative for AGS.  I'd excited to play it.

Yes, this will be great! Are there only dungeons or also cities and woods or plains like in TES 1: Arena?

There are both cities and outdoor areas in the works.

Ah this is great. I'm definitely interested in hearing more about this project, or how you even went about constructing this. One of my favourite games of all time is EoTB 2: Darkmoon and I've always been interested in creating something similar. I've been trying to build an engine like this using Construct but I'm running into a lot of problems with it.

I'm not a huge fan of the 3D models. They seem a little rough around the edges but overall I'm impressed with the general scale of the project, and that you've achieved an engine that I've been bashing my head against for months now.

This game looks EXACTLY like what I want to make!

Please, can you let me know how you're doing it? How does your engine work?

I guess there's set positions on screen for every possible wall position - then you work out what walls need to appear and what they look like? Do you have a way of interpreting a txt file map into the game environment?

Please, if you could help me make a similar Dungeon-Master-like engine I would be your friend for life! I have always ALWAYS wanted to make a game of this genre!

Aw snap, I'm about to be beaten to the punch on the "maker of the first traditional turn-based RPG made with AGS" title (or does Asporia count?)

Nonetheless, I greatly look forward to the release of this game.
