I've had 2mbit for the last couple of weeks (was 1mbit before, but my ISP upgraded everyone for free), I have to pay double the prize for 4 mbit and that's expensive.

Well, our best ISP might be slow as hell compared to other countries, but least I no longer have to suffer from the dial-up demons

I have 6000 kbps AT&T...it was only $5/month more than 3000 kbps so it was kind of a no-brainer.

I'm suppose to have 20mb but it's actually only 13mb. Which is more then enough though. I can't find anywhere to download/upload faster then 4mb per sec anyway. But hosting a good old UT server goes smooth now

I used to have a symmetrical 1 Mb connection, but my ISP recently upgraded it to 10 Mb (without even telling me) since that's their new bottom speed. It's way more than I really need - especially upstream - but as long as I'm not paying more for it, I guess it's nice to be able to download a CD-ROM sized file in less than an hour. Ironically, it didn't change the web browsing experience much as most slowdowns seem to be either server-side or due to my antiquated CPU.
