Overcast

3 steps away is a horror adventure game with high quality graphics and a touchy story. I can't really give a finishing date yet since there is still quite a lot of work to be done and we are all doing it in our spare time. Thank you very much.

Overcast are: Spinnos Manolis (basic member) ( writer ), also 3d modeling, cut scene making, music composing, 3d animation
Giamaios Marinos (basic member) ( lead 3d modeler ) also 3d animation, cut scene making

...and some other friends that they help us with music composing and great ideas for the game

3 Steps Away Storyline:
Our hero Nathan has a serious accident with his car.H e is getting better after 3 weeks in coma and he decide to get some vacations on an island. He's father island after 20 years. ...someone has a job to finish...they was waiting for him a lot ...

manos461 - I appreciate the effort ... however, that screenshot is not "in game" it is a menu screen! I'm not going to re-lock the thread but, please, update with at least 2 "in game" screenshots (showing backgrounds, guis, characters, cursors, things like that!) Thanks.

Looks pretty cool. But you might want to change the character around as he is almost exactly the default Poser guy.

About the hero of the game Nathan..somebody said that its almost like the default guy from the Poser...only the clothes are the same if you take a better look..maybe latter we gonna make some changes (and this part its very easy) but i don't think that is so important.i like those clothes anyway.

It's very hard to say anything about a game, before there was something playable. The graphics look very promising, especially the new screens. This could get a graphical masterpiece, but without seeing characters in movement or having tested the interface I'm careful with my comments.

Those screen shots look very professional and cool but I would change the main character.
It looks like he has breasts, and I only saw something like that to work on Fight Club and it was a secondary character!

What do you have against breasts, Miguel? This is a hero of an adventure game not a skinny fashion model.

Those are just muscles, never seen a bodybuilder or similar (not saying that this character is a body builder, just that you can see those things pretty clear there). Though, as somebody also suggested, a bit more chlothes to give character would be a good thing.

I like the graphics, have a kind of early 3d arts look to them, but not that bad, those exteriors of the beach are really nice. But the thing that bothers me are those planks inside the shed, the texture obviously repeats on each plank, just isn't on the level with other backgrounds.

I think the graphics are very spectacular! This guy's boobs don't bother me in the slightest:) Although he could do with a but more character- so far he looks like a typical tough guy who's more capable of beating someone up than solving puzzles:) I could not identify myself with this Arnie type of guy, really. Also, pay attention to the story. This sounds dangerously like Silent Hill 2(and I say this knowing that my game gets compared to it a lot as well)- a man receives a letter from his dead wife saying that "she sees that place in her restless dreams..." you know the rest. Don't make the same mistake, mate!

Hi Grim reaper,

you have to be sure that this game has nothing to do with sillent hill.I have only wright a very brief story and maybe you are right many people gonna compare it with other games.

''3 steps away'' its something different from the others.i wrote a whole mythology for the game called ''souls of the planet'' and also has to do with good and bad spirits and no zompies .

I will update soon the page with the more things about the story.

Thank you all because with every comment you make we try to correct the mistakes and do better this game but also to solve some wrong conclusions that you have to get an accurate picture of the game.
