Got many stories, but one involving Absynth, and some home made spirits.

I got home from cricket (a sport) hadn't eaten all day, and if you know cricket, it is a game played in summer in the sun all day, well, we play from 1pm to 6pm. Arrived home to find a bunch of friends having a few drinks on the common balcony on my floor of the apartment building I was living. I started off with 3 shots of absynth, then my neighbour got me to try some of his home made potatoe fermentation spirits, it tasted like metho, had a couple of shots of that, then 2 or 3 more shots of absynth.

This was all within an hour or less, on an empty stomach after being in the sun all day exercising (the pizza hadn't even arrived) I don't remember a thing after that, though I have seen some video footage of me trying to stand up, falling and hitting my head on the table, smashing my nose, and falling to the ground completely passed out. I apparently was staring and pointing at the breasts of someone I didn't know that was sitting next to her boyfriend, and verbally abused a neighbour. My friends took me to my apartment apparently one got her tits out and put them on my head. There was video footage of that too, but I was never shown that part.

I woke up at 2am in my bed in my underwear and there was blood in my bed (from my nose) and I couldn't work out what had happened. I was completely sober with no hangover, grabbed a beer, went back to the common balcony and wondered where everyone was. called a friend and they'd gone into town but were on their way home, and were suprised I was able to even talk.

very strange night, I never usually drink spirits, just beer or red wine. can't handle my spirits, cause I get too excited and think I can handle more, but you cant just drink it like beer. I know this before I start drinking spirits, but after a few shots, rational thinking goes out the window, It's best just not to start, and stay on beer.

I haven't really got any interesting drunken stories.  Only a few times have I been so drunk that I've forgotten events.  I have, however, fallen over a dog whilst kissing a girl and taken the girl flying with me... in front of all the villagers at my local social club...  She must have been so embarrassed.  Needless to say, that was the end of that with this girl... shame, she was a sweet chick. :-(

Mittens Spain is one of the most drunken times I've had, including some of the wackiest antics...tho no suffering from a hangover whatsoever... Silly times - but as AGA says, what happens at Mittens stays at Mittens - so no details here I'm afraid My first ever major drunken experience was in Oxford when I was 17 or 18, my mate ended up getting taken away in an ambulance and I ended up walking home with some random old man and sleeping on his sofa for a bit, only to find out the next day my parents had rung the police and they nearly sent out a chopper to look for me. These events, and burning some things down are about the only drunken times I really remember - albeit I don't want to remember them I remember getting drunk and lary at Ron Gilbert, and also at Yufster - uh oh! About 4 months ago me and a whole bunch of mates were pissed up and bundling each other, and all of us were leaping into bushes & stuff and one guy broke his ribs. That was a good night To be honest just about every night is a drunken story night for me, but that's cos I'm a goddamn alcoholic!

I guess I've plenty of weird, funny and whatever drunken stories, but I'll need to sort out the boring 90 % first to get to the more interesting ones. I'll post soon, can't think of the best ones (or those I'm willing to tell) right now.

Okay, here's I think the silliest and craziest drunken story I've had so far. It's quite a while ago, I went to school back then. Must have been in 2003 or so, but I still can remember most of the stuff that happened that night, it's just too hilarious to forget.


There was a nice Chillout Party with many people in the park near our school. Later at night only me and a friend (Felix) were left, but we weren't in the mood to go home yet. So we decided to get a sixpack of beer and a sparkling wine from the nearby gasstation. Felix already was so drunk that he had troubles to keep his balance (and once fell on the floor right in front of the stations nightdesk), so I had to do the buying.

Then we went back to the park and drank the beer and the   sparkling wine. Since we still haven't had enough (I don't know why) we went to a bar next to our school. We each drank one beer there and then were more or less thrown out of the bar due to Felix drunken behavior (I managed to act like I wasn't TOO drunk).

Then we had the stupid idea to 'visit' our school at night and climbed the fence to the schoolyard which was right in front of the bar. In there we trembled around, pissed at the trees and talked nonsense. When suddenly a light was turned on in the stairwell, we climbed back to the street.

Suddenly a policecar came by, some cops dropped out and we had to kneel on the floor with our hands on our backs. I still remember that I felt like in a stupid cop movie, I was never forced to kneel down like that and it was especially odd since we didn't really do anything harmful. Well, we had to give them our names, adress and stuff, they said that the bar owner told them we were climbing into the school and so on... then they left.


Afterwards we decided to go home, but Felix couldn't find the keys for his bicycle, so we searched around on the floor. We weren't exactly quiet while doing this due to the drunkeness and because we stepped on the splinters of glass of one of our beers that fell on the floor before we went to the bar. Ah well, we searched there quite a time and suddenly - The cops came AGAIN. And - that was the most hilarious thing - we went trough the exact same procedure as last time. We kneeled down, gave away our particulars and they told us that the bar owner called them because we were too loud.

Okay, after they left we finally went home though Felix didn't find his keys. For me it was the end of that evening, but not for him. He took a taxi cause otherwise he would have had to walk quite a while. He vomited in the car and when the cab arrived at his house, he realized that he didn't have enough money to pay the driver. Well, the driver waited while Felix tried to get money from home. First off, Felix almost didn't manage to open the door to the house and then he had much more trouble with opening the door to his flat. That's why - surprise surprise - his parents thought there was a thieve trying to open the door and called the police. Then it was a bit chaotic, his parents realized that it was just him, everything was fine and Felix finally remembered that the taxi driver was still waiting and he paid him (or his parents did).

Hehe, that really was one of the craziest drunken experience I had in life. Funny thing is - Felix later said that his keys were in his pocket or his wallet or something, so the second police action and the taxi trip haven't been necessary at all.

Yes, but a drunk person on a bicycle isn't exactly the smartest thing.  He could have died or something.  It was probably for the best.

Also here in Canada I was told you can get an impaired charge for riding your bicycle, while drunk on the roads.  Don't quote me on this, but I was definitely told this.

Well I for one wouldn't ride a bike while drunk. That is, unless I thought it would be an extremely funny thing to do, which does happen when I drink haha.

You're probably right. It depends on how drunk one is, and Felix definitely was too drunk to ride it. But nevertheless it was unnecessary to search for the keys and wait for the police to drop by once more. But well, after that evening it was just a funny and entertaining memory we had from that experience.

That evening, by the way, it seemed to me that the 2nd police patrol was the same as the 1st one, but I may have been too drunk to evaluate that. That would have been very strange..

Haha, yeah, that for sure wasn't a sober post. I was about to ask how you see a cat in these clouds and if you could upload the pic without the outlines. Hehe, now it's obsolete. But I like cloud shapes too  .

Hell, perhaps we should start an interprete-the-clouds-competition. I'd love to see a lot of posted clouds and put in some lines and shapes.

I guess the competition forum wouldn't be the best choice since painting over clouds is neither AGS-related nor enhancing any skills, but a thread in the gen forum would do. Maybe I'll start one, if I can find some interesting cloud pictures.. or if I take some. The question is: Should it really be a competition (with one picture) or should it be an open thread for everyone to post any clouds and any outlines?

But for once, we shouldn't clutter up the wonderful drunken stories thread too much.. on the other hand, way too little is posted here anyway.

Sure, I would be up for some cloud rorschach-testing. It has potential for comical genius. I agree it should be an own thread though. @IndieBoy: That's awesome!

And yeah, I might come up with my own drunken experience in the near future, though it's probably for the best that I don't remember some of them...

OMG... As of this moment, I am totally drunk. I did what I never thought I'd do. I even danced and grabbed some ladies' behinds while at it. I also misspelled "danced" three times before I got it right, as well as some other words. And I don't even like their music, God dammit,  but I couldn't stop moving and stuff... Shit, I'm going to regret everything tomorrow, even this post. Thank God I'm not the one who drove the car.
