Hello! I wanted to post it in the completed projects, but last time they removed me. So I post it here.

Hello!

My second trailer.

Will follow up with the resume as soon as will be granted with some more human rights from the US government

Vasily Zotov

This is a trailer for my second game, created with
web/iPhone/PC/Mac engine Unity
It can be found here www.quitesoulless.com/spacespy.htm
This is a sexual situation story about Hollywood and my afroamerican roommate (who was a tough guy and kicked me off the room 3 days ago).
I am an american author, who lives now in the removal proceedings and will be detained most likely to the Federal Prison in Lompoc 8 months later, trapped by the medical community and Immigration and Naturalization Services.
As well I was a victim of medical and juridical criminals back in the days in the country of Russia.
I develop in Starbucks during the daytime homelessness, overall USA is the healthier place to develop. I am not entitled for work permit or social security number,  but so far I did not meet much physical violence.

Akatosh

... uh huh. Well, you seem to have made some progress... probably... I'm afraid that trailer isn't exactly informational or exciting, however... also, it might be a shrewd move to, you know, let people actually know something about it outside of the basic premise of "Hawt XXX Darkskinned Roomie on Movie Production Industry Pr0n"...  :P :=

Oh, and sorry to hear about your legal trouble. Here's to hoping it works out well for you in the end.

Besides, if your game is not made with AGS it doesn't fit in the Completed Games forum.
As I'm at work I wouldn't check your links (I think I wouldn't check them when I get home eiher) to confirm this, but from my (very) rough and brief reading of your post it's very likely to be one of the main reasons for the removal of your thread.

Ok, good! Love you, guys!

I wanted to add:

I named 'Picture of Asylum' and sent on Friday this screenshot ( www.quitesoulless.com/picofasylum.jpg ) to governor A.Schwarzenegger, US president and Attorney General.

Just to let you know (check it out).

What to look at? (the yellow graffiti ASYLUM on the pavement in the middle)

I have no idea what you're talking about...  ???

Hey, km10, when you said that you made several critical mistakes while making Quite Soulless, did you actually take them into account and try to learn from your mistakes while making this new game?

If so, what were the mistakes you were talking about, and what did you do to correct them in Space Spy?

http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=36967.msg487595#msg487595
Quoteas for Quite Soulless it is financially very unsuccessfull project , I've made several mistakes in the several fields, each of them was critical, so I would rather forget (for now) about the project,

I ask because to me, it looks like you are making all of the exact same mistakes.  Aren't you worried about another financially unsuccessful project?

P.S. I would try out Space Spy, but Unity Player just crashes when it tries to load.

km10

The mistakes were:

1) Never use the engine, made by yourself.
2) Never use 3d gameplay (or you will be snowed by work)
3) Do not trap yourself in Windows ONLY

Those were corrected

Ubel

Those weren't the biggest mistakes you made. But first, let's review the mistakes you think you made...

1) What? NEVER use an engine you made by yourself? Why the hell not? The whole professional games industry is doing it and they're making a lot of commercial progress. But of course if you can use some other engine that suits your purposes that's fine.

2) It is true that 3D game programming takes a while longer but if you're not programming the engine yourself it shouldn't be too big a problem. 3D graphics don't take longer to produce than 2D ones if you know what you're doing.

3) The vast majority of commercial PC games are being developed for the Windows platform. Though you might find that some Mac and/or Linux users are buying your game the amount of them compared to the Windows users will most probably end up being very small.

Anyway, the biggest mistake you made is that nobody gets what you're talking about. Your marketing skills are very lacking. You need to elaborate more!

- What is this game about?
- What do you do in the game?
- What is the genre?
- What kind of gameplay is there?
- How much does the game cost?
- Where can we get it?

These are just a few things people will want to know. And you need to be specific. At least don't try to phrase your answers in the form of a political metaphor.

You also need to ask yourself: Why would people buy my game? What makes it so special that they will be interested? I gotta say, personally, I'm only interested because the way you're marketing it makes me very very confused and I want to know what the heck it's all about in the first place. But I would never consider buying your product. Not with the little information you've given us. Make a better website! Put some concrete information about the game on it.

I would also suggest you keep quiet about your personal life when you're marketing a game. Quite frankly nobody cares (everyone has their own problems to deal with anyway) and it'll just put people off and nobody will want to purchase your product.

ThreeOhFour

Yeah. I looked at your 'overview'.

It's a lot of things about flying sea horses with membrane wings and being homeless and pushing bins and being afraid of tractors and robots killing me.

But I have absolutely no idea what any of it means. It reads like a walkthrough that was translated with Google language tools, and it doesn't catch my interest. In fact, it makes me go " ??? if this is the way he promotes his game, imagine trying to play the damn thing!".

I would suggest letting people look at your site without needing to install Unity player, as well. Pablo got it right: Put some time into making a website we can understand!

Edit: Also, "Heterosexual situations game" is perfect if you are trying to make a crude, cheesy piece of comedy. But if you want to introduce a serious game with that... well, it is a pretty creepy phrase  :=

m0ds

Creepy indeed, just like this thread, both times I've read it.

  ::)

Layabout

I'm sorry, we can't have threads discussing Heterosexual Situations. This is clearly a Homosexual forum.
I am Jean-Pierre.
