Shy girl sprite

Hey! everyone! i'm working on this sprite right here, and i don't really get what's wrong i notice that something odd, could be the proportions or shading don't know, and i'm pretty tired and stressed right now so please could you help me out ANY suggestions are welcome, THANKS!!!

It's suposed to be a 14 year old girl and she's wearing a somewhat large coat, she's suposed to be shy and therefore the pose !!! well thanks!!!

as you can notice it's anime style (therefore the kinda large head )

Really nice sprite!

Personally I think that there may be too many shades used in the skin (and also the browns in the gloves and boots, probably) and these colours don't vary that much in intensity anyways so they're not that apparent at the moment. Also, more shades means more work when you need animations. However, that's just personal preference, you may decide that on your own according to your own style.

For the face, I think she looks good enough in that resolution. However, as it's not very high res., the black lines below her eyes will be very distracting. As you mentioned that she is shy, I made a little paintover on her face, using some pink:

Note that I also changed a bit in the shape of the eyes and the pupils' highlighting. This is just personal taste, you can ignore them if they don't fit your own style. (Edit: I see that you just posted a sketch of her. Now I think my edit may make her look even more fit to the style. ) Hope you don't mind.

HEY! THANKS! for the quick help!! i really like tour edit on the face, i'm not used to draw anime like faces at that low resolution, and you got it really well !!!and indeed it fits more her actual face (sketch) thanks a lot !

using ur advice i modified the eyes to not distract That much !!! i think it looks way better now, but the body is still kinda buging me !!!
