This is my first song that I have posted on this critique board. I have written some stuff, but a lot of it has not been looked at by other people, so I am really looking forward to getting some good critique on this. This song is in a video game. It loops whenever the game gets really intense and your character is in danger.

Well here is the link http://shutupload.com/user/20464bf085f212882e812dfc9ecd4d34 Have fun critiquing!  ;D

Well, I'm no expert but I think it sounds fine, emotion-wise you've got it.

And since it's a loop repetitive-ness is okay as well.

Kaio

I like it!
I may be a bit simple, but it really gives you the feeling of danger...kinda reminds me of the music in Kings Quest 5 (the only KQ I've played so far) when he is in the dark forest or something like that.
Keep it up!

It's ok, simple piano music, yet effective. I have a certain taste for the dramatic, so it sounds to me like it lacks that epic feeling, I'd suggest at least adding some reverb on that piano.

thanks for all of the comments so far! ;D

Do you have any suggestions as to how I can add something to make it epic, but still keep the same overall feeling of the song?

Dan's quick epic fix-up guide:

1. stringed instruments
2. reverb, tons of it
3. lots of instruments that you can kind of hear, but all they do is sustain the main melody (like having 2-3 separate, slightly different stringed pads)

Hope this helps :).

thanks i'll have to try all of that, (i might even post it  ;))
