I remember playing the original Ultima on the c-64 (yes, I really am that old), as well as on the NES when it was released.Ã,  You could engage in a humorous (yet Ultima-tely futile) battle with Lord British if you wanted, and the dialogue from the NES version always cracked me up.Ã,  Not long ago I made a really low-quality parody of an Ultima battle with Lord British with a few surprises..Ã,  It plays a little fast, but it loops so you can see it again if you want.Ã,  Enjoy, or not

My first was Ultima 5 on an old Tandy 1000.
My favorite was Ultima 7.

Btw, I really like what your team has done with Fountain of Youth so far, the backgrounds  look phenomenal.  I always wanted to do an IJ game, but I hate having to do all the work myself ;p.

An ultima remake was on my list of things to do after the trek game havent looked into how feasible it would be on ags.

Not AGS-made, but it's a pretty decent remake of Ultima 5.

Wow, that was quite a Lazarus job you pulled on this thread, conan.  I completely forgot I even HAD a sam and max avatar.

Oh, and I updated the link to a version I found on my hard drive.  My friend Paul (who is quite silly) and I worked on this together so expect something pretty horrible.

I played only Ultima Underworld 1 & 2 and Ultima VIII "Pagan", and that bloody GIF reminded me, I once used a hacking utility to boost my thievery skills in UW2 and opened a chest in Lord British's rooms, and inside the chest I found.... ripped-off eye balls (sic!)  :o, Three of them, to be precise. What was the meaning of that is still a mistery to me. But I don't trust Lord British ever since
