character interactions from room script file

Hello, I'd like to (and please put me right if wanting to do this in the first place is the wrong approach) deal with character interaction in the room script file rather than the GlobalScript file. Seems to me it'd be easier to keep track of that way - is it possible?

i.e. I'd like to use the functions that the interaction panel generates (like cCharacter_Talk() or whatever) from the script of the room in which that character exists.

I've had a look through the wiki and that and can't find anything which makes me think maybe there's a compelling reason to do this sort of thing in the global file?

I think it's on the global script because if it were in the room script, you would have to do every interaction in every room, one by one.  So, being in the global script is easier, besides, I think there's a search function somwhere. Also welcome to the forums :)

Thanks fedx, and for the welcome.

I was thinking in terms of characters being limited to a particular room but I guess that's not always the case. So yeah, makes sense.
