Open Source: Source forge - AGS Engine

I'm sure it's probably allowed by Chris Jones, to redistribute your game with its code files, as part of an open source. But if one was to upload it into sourceforge that allows projects to host their files there in open-source format, wouldn't they require to AGS also to be open source as it's the engine?

Worked on Strangeland, Primordia, Hob's Barrow, The Cat Lady, Mage's Initiation, Until I Have You, Downfall, Hunie Pop, and every game in the Wadjet Eye Games catalogue (porting)

The answer should be found somewhere inside license mumbo-jumbo;
however, thinking on it, if someone release an MS Windows application, that application still would require a non-open source commercial product to run, wouldn't it  ;D

PS. Question is really interesting and not stupid at all, btw.
