Nope, doesn't work that way. The first thing that happens when you click the Pay Now button is that it asks you to log in to PayPal. That's why I could never test the payment process myself with that method.

With a business or premier account I could create a button that would take credit card payments, but not with a regular personal account.

bicilotti, a wire transfer is probably your best bet. That Norway isn't an EU country ought not to be a problem; you can make these transfers internationally (I just made one from the US to Italy, and in the past I've made transfers between the EU, US and Norway in pretty much all directions). If you really can't make it work, a final resort would be Western Union, though I'm sure they would take a good chunk of the money too.

These might come in handy in your travels in Italy. (maybe rephrase that last one to Io no capisco.) I think it might be very useful to recognize these phrases (maybe even pronounce them!) When dealing with the authorities (hopefully that won't happen, but as Eoin Colfer stated in H2G2 6/3 wrt simple hand gestures: One being's "This pasta is fantastico" is another's "Your mama plays it hot and loose with sailors". (iirc number 2 or 3 in the intergalactic poll on causes of warfare) Now translate that last sentence to Italian and you're ready to go on holiday.

Regarding location, it's not far from Lucignano, AR, Italy. Will have exact details asap, the directions are a bit rough at the mo; "From Florence or Rome you leave motorway A1 in Valdichiana exit and follow for Foiano della Chiana. When you arrive in Foiano you follow direction for Lucignano and from the centre of Foiano we are at 4 kms on your right."

I haven't found the Grifone pool on Google Earth yet I've emailed for more specific details.

People coming from the UK, any solid travel plans yet?  I'm thinking of flying to London and taking a budget airline from there, as it might be cheaper that flying from Miami to Florence.

Budget isn't particularly cheap to Italy, it seems. We're talking £170 minimum, ~£220 for most airlines. Dunno if that's better than you'd pay for direct though.
