had the feeling it was, but still it was something good to talk about

discordance

Personally I think icey is unappreciated as a maker of games. Well, maybe games is the wrong word. They're not so much games as artistic experiences, the deconstruction of the very idea of a game into its most banal elements. The pointless, boring wandering of the protagonists directly reflects the ultimate hollowness of gaming in general, and, perhaps, even our own lives. The copyright infringement reflects the meaningless of big corporations and pervasive franchises. His characters are shallow ripoffs that ultimately achieve nothing and do nothing, not unlike many of literature's most archetypal characters. Whats-his-face of pubmembers something or other is the face of an entire confused generation of kids who don't know how to get past the pop culture drivel they grew up on and are doomed to recycle it eternally until artistry turns to stagnation, and icey is courageous enough to recognize and reflect this phenomenon in the hopes that we'll grow up before it's too late. icey isn't so much a game maker as an artist: incoherent, misunderstood, and not recognized as a genius until well after his time. I'd like to thank him for allowing us humble folk a window into the messed-up and soulful world of his creative process. If only Ebert knew.

Snake

Very well said, discordance, very well said. Nobody will say it better. I agree 110%

And Ebert knows, I'm sure of it.
Grim: "You're making me want to quit smoking... stop it!;)"
miguel: "I second Grim, stop this nonsense! I love my cigarettes!"

Between both sides of the coin, icey games should grown up and mature. It's not the bad way you're making sentences, it's the inability to comprehend what we're telling you. You may have the enthusiasm, but that doesn't really mean anything but also nothing at all. Take it step by step.
Worked on Strangeland, Primordia, Hob's Barrow, The Cat Lady, Mage's Initiation, Until I Have You, Downfall, Hunie Pop, and every game in the Wadjet Eye Games catalogue (porting)

Mr Flibble

Discordance is wrong.

Icey is an artiste, not some "artist"...
Ah! There is no emoticon for what I'm feeling!

HUM..SOUNDS GOOD BUT NOT GOOD...
Icey, I tried to defend you somewhat and give you the benefit of the doubt. As much as I dislike the thought of saying this... I can't make up my mind whether or not you are a troll or if you really are like this. If the first is the case, please stop. If the latter is true then maybe you should wait a year before requesting help or even posting and take that time to let your maturity develop a little more with the added bonus of understanding how to interact with others and understand their advice. Peace.

donny:hump*, i get what people are saying OK, stop treating me like a kid cause all of you make it seem as though your the best game maker or you better then anyone, you may not say but i sure see a h3ll of you act like it.

now like i said, i promised to my friends i would make the best game ever and regardless if i make it with ags or not, I'm still gonna keep my promise, hopefully I'll make my game with the "crystal tools" that square used on FF.XIII,then when my game gets a 9.5 in the game informer, and you see my game on IGN.com then don't wounder  why i am the one with all the $ & the big house(or bigger house) or how did this "crap" called PMQ make it to the PS4 or 720 -why you ask?- cause I'm making my game's along side square enix!. while your still stuck with ags or something else. don't get me wrong - i love AGS i just don't like some peoples attitude about new game makers that use it

Calin Leafshade

You are batshit insane.

Like fucking crazy.

lol

Just make sure you get someone to proof read this 'million dollar game' of yours - not that I'm saying you're not capable, your words flow like mineral oil in my rectum.

I think it is time to put Icey Games down.  I'm going to take him to the vet.  I'm sorry Icey's family but I think it is for the best of all humanity.

Don't we all. I know I like to some fun some times!

Good luck making the best game ever and millions of dollars in the process. As renegade Commander Shepard unenthusiastically said to the delusional volus in Mass Effect 2, "Charge."
