The editor won't open

I hope this is the right forum.

I just installed the program, but whenever I click "AGS Editor" from the Start Programs menu, it... doesn't open. Nothing happens when I click it. Same thing for the demo that it came with - it just doesn't open.

What could be causing this?

Just maybe, you can go double click the editor directly from the installation folder. Hope it helps!

I've already tried that - that doesn't work either. (same goes for the demo file)

Just wondering what is your current operating system? I've been in this condition before and for mine, I got virus on my comp that messed up with exe's ?(???“)?

Did you have the NET Framework installed? Unfortunately you must have that installed (use Windows Update) for recent versions of the editor to run.
