Please help me catch the eagle in KQ 1 the remake

I have followed every suggestion in this forum for catching the eagle in KQ 1 and i can't catch it, the eagle even looks like it's touching me when it flies down but it just doesn't work, i have clicked that eagle in evey spot but still nothing, please if anyone can help.

I described this as:

Go to the center of the screen where two small rocks are on the ground. Use the hand over the opening of the cave and when the bird is coming down, click to jump to grab it’s paws and when done right, the bird will take you for a flight

I remembered doing this sequence for 30 times in a row until I managed to catch that damn eagle  ...
Just keep on trying...

did you keep returning to a saved spot in the game or keep leaving the scene and come back

If I remember correct I could leave and return for about 5 or 6 times and the had to restore.

does it matter where on the bird i click, or is it more where on the screen i click, it's a real shame that this part of the game had to be so difficult, if i don't get this soon i'm giving up. :'(

It's just a matter of timing, for example: try a tiny bit earlier to grab the paws...

Like I said, you shouldn't click on the bird. It's the moment you jump. Hold your mouse over the opening of the cave and click to jump. Maybe just ignore the bird.. 
Just click on the opening of the cave  to jump when the bird dives.

you have to click on the bird or else i don't jump, if i just click on the cave without the bird there it says "don't be afraid just walk over and step inside"

Of course you have to click on the bird's paws.
But *when* is where it seems to go wrong for you.
Keep trying to click on it's paws just a tiny little bit earlier or later.

Maybe this will help, quote from the AGDI forum:
"there's a spot marked by two small rocks near the center of the screen. Stand in that spot and click on the condor just before he swoops over your head so Graham has the time to jump."

I did it  , i had to be standing directly on those 2 little rocks

Now just finish this KQ1 remake and continue with KQ2 & KQ3 remakes

yes i did those already, kinda went backwards, any word on when any of the other KQ will be remade
