Hello,

7 years ago I used to play a flash game in which you had  to escape a few rooms, and after searching a lot for it, I remembered that somewhere in the game there was a propaganda of the Adventure Game Studio. So I decided to come ask here.. here's what I remember :

The game wasn't gorgeous, it was kinda badly drawn and 2D. In the first room you had to get a poster on the wall and a nail, put the poster under the door and use the nail in the lock. Then pull the poster back in and get the key.

I got really far on that game, and at that time, the creator updated it with new rooms from time to time..

I obviously searched a lot for  it on google but couldn't come up with anything using the keywords "escape room flash game".

Thanks in advance.

edit : also, it wasn't Crimsom room or any of those.

That could be Taringa Escape...:

Have a look here or here.

MOTAS, Mystery of Time and Space.

Was a really good game, took me all night to beat it (without a walkthough).

I don't remember a callout to AGS though.

Thanks for the fast replies!

That was it, thank you! And I was mistaken about the poster, sorry.. it's actually a link to a survey about adventure games. The link doesn't even work anymore haha..

Well, thanks again!

Well... Actually there is indeed a reference to AGS, though not in-game:

IndieBoy

This is how I originally found AGS back in the day.
