Is it possible to use equations in AGS other than just taking a picture of them and putting them in?
Can one program or script an equation to allow someone to work on it in AGS?
Is there an add in for math?
Maybe math fonts.

..what are you talking about?

I'm sorry, but none of what you said makes any sense.

If you're wanting to, for example, let the user type an equation in, then you'd need to write some custom parsing code to convert the user text into the actual mathematical equation.

If you want to just write a calculator, you could just create a GUI with buttons that would handle the processing directly as the user clicks on each button.

Sorry if thats not really helpful or what you wanted, but..your questions..were..cryptic at best.

I think what he meant was just to display mathematical equations. The easiest method at the moment is to just type those equations with other software (such as TeX or the crappy equation editor of M$ Word) and capture them as sprites.

He probably just wants to have a font that has some "math specific" characters to display... (my guess) in that case you'd need to import a font or draw the symbols yourself either as a sprite or as a custom font.

I downloaded some math fonts and replaced the double fonts in AGS
I meant just show equations in AGS.
I think making an object of a picture of the equation will work. Then I wouldn't need the Math fonts.
I am thinking about doing a interactive\documentary on Gravity Waves and Einstein's general relativity.
The focus would be on Gravity waves, but it is impossible to separate it from general relativity.
After I finish Joan of Arc, I might do it.

Sweet. I have many times fantasized about creating interactive learning software in AGS, an honorable quest, I say.

In another life I would have spent all my waking hours turning Carl Sagan's COSMOS into a 80 hour long fully interactive museum, letting people through experiment and interaction experience the wonders of the universe.... Wow that sounds so cool I'm giving myself shivers.  8)

Cool idea Theo.
I would play that for sure.
