I am finishing my Best Anime films Documentary.
I am having a problem keeping the narrating character from going under the photos on the page.
How would I keep the character on top of the photos of the Movies?
The photos are objects and the Narrator is a regular character.
The character can be moved so the user can see the photos.

Set the objects baseline Overidden in the properties window to True ( bottom right hand corner ), by default it is set to false, that might work, otherwise you might want to play around with setting the baseline numbers to 0 or 1, something like that.

If you search the forums you should find tons of these same questions

Thanks for the reply.  It seems to help sometimes but not always.
The game is ready for release now.
I have to now jump through hoops to get it on my mediafire account.

Setting Object.Baseline to 0 will make it use Object.Y as the baseline. Set the baseline for every object to 1 and the baseline for the character to 2, and it will work every time. If it doesn't then you haven't done what I just said, or, something else is changing the baselines.

Why do you use mediafire then?

That just made my day. Matti wanted to say "why don't you host your files elsewhere then" and as far as I'm concerned, he did :)

Thanks for the replies.
What file storage site do you suggest.
My files and games tend to be big.  The 11 best anime films is 325 megs.

Off the top of my head, wupload.com's limit for free users is 2GB and they have a relatively short waiting period before a download.
And there's always Dropbox.com.

On the other hand, what makes uploading stuff to mediafire so complicated? It seems to be pretty straightforward.

The problem is mediafire tends to lose connection.
I have to try to upload over and over again.  It is fairly simple to use.
They just seem to throttle the speed too much to make more money.

I had that same problem, would not show upload,  until i created a new folder and uploaded. It was ok then.

I had to split the Anime game into 2 parts that just have to be uncompressed into a directory.
I had to use 7z to compress the game.
So 7z is necessary to uncompress it.
I will post the links later.
