Now that the forums are back online we can announce this here!

Da New Guys: Day of the Jackass

The sequel to the original wrestling comedy.

Story

Brain - the worst brawler in the history of the Wrestle Zone - has won the title belt! Not even his team-mates Simon and Defender can believe it. But when Brain gets kidnapped (along with the belt), it's up to them to get him back.

Street-fights, car chases, and obssessed fans all stand in the way of Brain's rescue. But as the reluctant heroes find themselves descending ever deeper into in the city's darkest corner, they learn that their problems are only just beginning...

I just saw a review on this one on Gamespot.  Looks like fun!

This is a really fun game, funny, engaging characters, nice variety of puzzles (not too difficult but a couple of tricky ones), I'm already looking forward to the sequel!  ;D

Congratulations on getting this done, Iceman.  It's clear you put a lot of work into it.  I couldn't pass up on ordering the cd-rom version as I enjoyed the first game so much and hell if you don't deserve some change for it.

Edit:  Would be nice if the cd version had the original game on it as well, for new players and for archiving purposes. ;)

Thought about it, but since the original has a bunch of copyrighted stuff on it (music and suchlike) we figured we'd play it safe.

I think the "buy now" link is faulty, so in case anyone needs this, use this: http://www.wadjeteyegames.com/da-new-guys-order.html
Worked on Strangeland, Primordia, Hob's Barrow, The Cat Lady, Mage's Initiation, Until I Have You, Downfall, Hunie Pop, and every game in the Wadjet Eye Games catalogue (porting)

I must be dreaming. I have to say, I already gave up hope of ever getting to play this. I'll buy it as soon as possible. The first game is definitely one of the most entertaining AGS games I ever played!

Congrats (and thanks) for finishing it! :D
