He may not have "yet worked on any finished games", but without him none of us would be here. So perhaps, it could be changed to something to acknowledge that? Because, as nice as it would be, listing every single AGS game would make for a long, long page.

I'm all for that. But what should it say?

"Hero to aspiring game designers everywhere"?
"Patron saint of the church of the blue cup"?
"Lover of onion rings"?
"Keeper of the Secret of The Q"?

Monsieur OUXX

"Creator of AGS" seems pretty straightforward.

As cute as this may be, I think in reality it'll just be annoying.  There are 1600+ games in the database, which would make CJ's profile something like 25 screens long.

Who's asking you to do that?

At least 90% of the people on this site probably know who 'Chris' is and those that don't 'should'.

I always add Chris to my credit screens (after all, without Chris ags would not exist.)

A link page dedicated to Chris on the Home page would not go amiss.

Long live Chris

Okay, so I made it show a little message in the games credits section of CJ's profile, and gave him a special membergroup of his own on the forums (not that he uses them anymore).

And it looks like I've just destroyed that by actually crediting him on a game ;)

AGA

It won't show it on his profile anyway.  He gets credit for all games!

m0ds

Huh?

What do you mean, who won't it show it to? It shows it to me..?!

Shane 'ProgZmax' Stevens

I think as a legacy gesture it's a good thing.  CJ has contributed to thousands of hours of fun for adventure gamers (and thousands of hours of sleepless nights for adventure game developers!) and that's something I'm sure he's secretly very proud of.  Not many people can honestly claim to have brought so much enjoyment to so many people with a piece of development software.

Yeah, I messed it up slightly.  Works now though.
