What exactly is verbcoin

Hello, I would like to know what verbcoin is used for.

It's the user interface that Full Throttle and Curse of Monkey Island used. You hold down the left mouse button over a hotspot, a small GUI with a few actions pops up, and you let go over the desired action.

so to do this you just start a new game in verbcoin?

Yes, that's what the VerbCoin template is for. You could of course make your own from scratch, but the template does allow customization. I've never really used it, just took a look when it came out.
