Dualnames

If you paraphrase the name of a famous band to use as a title in a commercial project, for example Rihabba as in Rihanna, does that mean you're infringing copyrright/trademark/whatever you're illegally doing?
Worked on Strangeland, Primordia, Hob's Barrow, The Cat Lady, Mage's Initiation, Until I Have You, Downfall, Hunie Pop, and every game in the Wadjet Eye Games catalogue (porting)

Technically speaking, names aren't even covered by copyright but by trademark. There are still legal implications behind using someone else's trademarked name, but it would really all come down to the context in which it's used.

In this case it definitely sounds like you're doing some level of parody, but to be fair, Rihanna is actually the name of the person (it's her middle name) so that opens up other possibilities. If you're openly committing slander then, well you'd have some legal issues there, but doing a parody of an individual definitely wouldn't invoke copyright or trademark issues (on its own, again, context is the biggest factor to consider here).
