At first: Sorry for my bad english...:-\

I and frosch have started to translate the AGS-Help File (.chm) to german language in Oct.2013.
And now my asks:
Is it generally and principally allowed to me ?
And so on:
Can I make some enhancements by the Version of 3.2.1, included newest Pics with concurrence?

An reply would make me glad, and will my work very well, when I have an O.K.
I`m not sure you understand me in my bad writing... I'm very glad, when someone (or the Owner?) answer me please.
Thanks for reading!

Greetings

Hi, Gurkenbier.
The AGS was open-sourced by its author, Chris Jones. This means that all the materials are open to public and free to use under Artistic License, which means that you can do all you want with them, so long as you mention original author (Chris Jones) in the credits and also clearly explain which modifications you added.
I do not know if this requirement applies to manual too, but anyway I am pretty much sure you have a right to translate it.

I am not German myself, and I know very little about German community, but I know there's a German community website, dedicated for Maniac Mansion Mania games. Perhaps you will be able to find support there. Maybe they even have some of the materials translated already.

(Sorry if you know this site already ;))
I'd hope if some german-speaking people around here give you better advice (I know cat, Ghost, JJS, BigMC, Khris, Tabata).

There's also an opened discussion about improving AGS manual in general. If you make new screenshots, official manual can use them too.
