Not the band. Not an AGS Band that covers Muse, nothing related to the Muse.

This may be on the silly side, but I'm wondering and it's 6AM. So, indulge me if you will. Do you guys/gals/people/aliens have a person in or outside the AGS community that you run to first, when you're wanting the best feedback one or a collective of few can give you?

I usually go by bicilotti and qptain nemo. Bicilotti will usually share my feelings, and Nemo will just shoot my excitement down, help me realize what's wrong with my thought process or end result. So, what's yours? Who do you go for honest feedback?
Worked on Strangeland, Primordia, Hob's Barrow, The Cat Lady, Mage's Initiation, Until I Have You, Downfall, Hunie Pop, and every game in the Wadjet Eye Games catalogue (porting)

The very first person I ask for honest feedback is my best friend in the community, Mandle.

and there I thought you want to rework the AGS Audiosystem, like an iMuse integration into AGS. But this may already be a thing...

I usually check with Babar and ignore everything he says.

Muse rule.  I've seen them 4 times.

I can't say I have a Muse, for inspiration as such, but I had fun showing my old WIP to my niece. The trouble was it had a fair bit of swearing and some sliiightly grown up humour, so I changed some of the dialogue a bit and frantically clicked past others. I realised that without all the crudeness for crudeness' sake, it was something that a 7 year old could enjoy. So now I think about her when I'm writing anything related to dialogue and story. Not to make it a child's game, but one a child could play without being exposed to gratuitous language and themes.  As an example, we played broken sword 1 & 2 together, which I realised too late are supposed to be for people aged over 12; people die in those games, and they're quite dark, but I think the cartoony graphics helped make it less realistic and she loved them both. So, now wenever I make something, I want it to be something her mum would let her play.

Hen man has no swearing, although I couldn't resist a little cock joke that I don't know if anyone caught. When the chicken is saying "bock bock bock...", one of the bocks actually says 'cock'.  And in a delicious twist, it just so happened that the 'cock' appeared on screen almost where the protagonist's penis would be :-D

It might be a little unrelated to the topic, but in my country chickens always say "cock cock cock" ;) and nobody raises an eyebrow.
