Great Croquis Resource

I just wanted to recommend this great series of croquis sessions on youtube: Croquis Café
Great models, good lightning and good intervals. I've used them to polish up my people-drawing-skills, and I've done about 30 in 2 months and I can really see the improvement.
And there's lots of nudity!

Glad it was of interest! In my opinion this is the next best thing after real life drawing. I've tried a lot of other different sites but they are all still photos. Having them pose in real time you get a better sense of the balance and the model. And more importantly, it's the only croquis series I've found where not all models are 22 year old anorectic girls. They are a little bit short on males though. I've only seen two male models.

this is weird. Why do they pose exactly for 3 minutes or 5 minutes? I mean, how do they know I finished painting them in oil? Then I could just pause the video or use other references. I think sneaking nudies onto youtube is an artform

Sure you can "cheat", but the point is taking the challenge of real time drawing.
Having just short drawing time make you go for the shape and not get caught into the detail.
I remember the first time I tried timed drawing, and all I got was like the head... I did got better once I stopped focusing on the detail and started getting the shape...
I'd definitely give it a go if I had the time. Sometimes I do miss miss those challenges from Uni...
