Police Quest: Panama Nights takes place between PQ1 and PQ2, following Detectives Sonny Bonds and Laura Watts into the darkness of the 1980s drug cartels.

This began as a July 2025 MAGS entry and a tool to get the hang of AGS coding before starting work on the larger Manhunter: Toronto project. Of course, the mind wanders, and now this story has become a five-part game with a life of its own!

I've never released a game here before, so I hope this works:

VERSION 1.1
Police Quest: Panama Nights [Part 1/5]

If anyone is interested in trying it out, I'd love to hear any/all thoughts you have!

This is a very nice old school adventure game,
unfortunately I encountered a few , i guess severe, bugs :
Spoiler
I am at the point where I have to defeat the drunk at the bar.
Obviously, I don't have the right item , I guess it might be found
in the storage room, where I could only find a towel and a few beers
The moment the drunk approaches me, I can use the door to go outside, where
the soldiers have now disappeared. Then I can walk back in I am not attacked anymore.
During these actions, my player is always walking backwards...
AND : Then I can even walk into my room and get another passport from the nightstand,
which is not intended, I guess...

EDIT: I finished the game after finding the right object.
Looking forward to see more from You, very nice work !

Hello @Ian Aloser - Thanks so much for playing! And for finding that bug, I've updated the link with a fixed version.

It means a lot that you enjoyed it, and I'll definitely let you know when the next chapter is ready. Danke, detective!

Quote3) A minimum of two (in-game) screenshots must be available.
If you aren't far enough to be able to take different screenshots, don't post yet!  We know some of you don't want to show too much of the game, but two screenies isn't too much to ask!  Please note that splash screens and options/menu screens don't count as one of the two.  They must be actual screenshots of two (or more) different backgrounds.

Please add an additional in-game screenshot. Thanks!
