Shortly after opening Heroine Quest vers 1.2 I encountered this message: https://ibb.co/LdJRJLFh and had to close the game. Can someone help me?

Does this happen each time you are trying to save the game?

If you go to "%USERPROFILE%/Saved Games/Heroine's Quest 1.2" in your file explorer, is the folder present, and do you see any files there at all?

A side question, I recall this game was updated to a newer engine version (3.6.0) some time ago, is there a reason why you cannot run the new updated game?

It worked now. Ive been playing HQ for a while and have yet to finish the Sorceress game.

The file is present.
Since posting the problem has solved itself, but now theres a new problem: I've since gotten the 3.6.0.52 engine version, but now when I try to play the game, I receive the message: "room script data segment size has changed".

I think you should ask this question to the game creator. It's likely that the older saves are not compatible with the new game version.
