hello everyone!

Though I'd post something here since I never have and long time havn't, well anyway. Manga, thats what my game is going to be next like, The Legend of Kenshin. Thought i'd take a manga cartoon and make a game out of it since i was running out of ideas.

Nope, got that from some manga movie called, Samurai X Kenshin.
Got annoyed with space games and futuristic so I though picking something set in Asia, Japan ect might be a little change around the AGS world.

And about that job thing u recomended me to get, not good enough for my point of view.

yeh, i have heard of and seen art from ryro kenshin b4, but it looks like u just took it strait from it, i mean, no1 can draw that well... can they?

Ah, nice to see a fan of Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X! (The OVA's are so good I almost can't describe it... )

The sprite looks really good, colourful and overall very nice.
The second one is the source of inspiration, right? (Looks like it's straight from the OVA, just like Slamgrinder said.)

Well, at least he bothered to use a filter.  Looks like the watercolor one or something.

Your sprite was well done.  Some of us are rather graphically-challenged and would've been quite impressed with your original posting.  Nobody could've called it a poorly-done sprite or crappy effort.  Even if you modified traced the original image for the later posting or used a paintbrush over the original layer, it still remains un-original work.  If you wish to post such a modification, please credit the original author.  

However, your idea (at the beginning) seemed a good one and well-implemented.  Don't feel scared off by our criticism, just let your own work stand on its own.  We've had problems with this sort of thing in the past and do not wish for redundancy.

Sorry if i did put you all thinking, that woah this guy can draw and stuff like that, but no hard feelings, like YakSpit said, pictures drewn or edited from originals are still my drawings.

Pardon the pun, but I may've been a bit merciless there.  I just wanted it to be clear that we (as creators in one medium or another) try and show respect to all fellow creators as we go.  I think there was some confusion in your posting.

I apologize.. But i must say that i really hate stolen art! Don't come here waving your pencils and saying that you've made something that you obviously did not!

The reason i hate it so much is that this happened to me several times by the same person. He stole both pictures and music from the site i had at the moment. That really pissed me off!
