I have just started a new forum about AGS and I wondered if anyone was interested in looking at it and becoming a member. I am looking for moderators as well so could you post a message on this thread if you would like to be a moderator.

  Ok. I now know it was a crap idea and no-one can attempt to make anything like that. I felt a bit stupid after starting the whole thing.

Now I have just pissed everyone off i'll go and work until I can get a game finished that people actually like and maybe you can forgive me for this stupid idea.

p.s I know you can't win friends that way but it was worth a shot.

Ok I think I may have over reacted here. I've taken the opinion of one person and blown it out of proportion thinking that everyone had the same thoughts.

Ok I'm going to try and redesign my forum so it is more about adventure games as a whole.

Peaceman isn't posting spam, nor is he posting anything disrespectful.

Please, show him a little more respect instead of immediately condemning him.

Whether liberal or whatever, he's still a human being and doesn't deserve this kind of treatment, especially for his contributions.

If you notice there is a smiley that N3t put in his post. I think he was just kidding. I think we have to lighten up and be able to take a joke once in a while.

I'm sure even Bob the Hun didn't mean anything by his post. And I'm sure they'd both apologize if they thought it hurt Peacemans feelings. They could also kiss and make up. And then have make up sex. Then smoke a fag (Speaking of which, anyone seen m0ds lately(insert smiley here)).

I'm all for lightening things up, Mills.

However, I do see a problem when someone tries to erase their post after only three replies.

I think it would lighten things up better if people gave some encouragement instead.

Like the rules say -- 'THINK before you post'.

So I'm (visit) going to (Peaceman's) add some (website) subliminal messages in (now) hopes people keep things light, yet respectful.

Oh, I'm pro-peace. I just think that war is a viable solution in some cases.
Either way, I'm pretty much anti-death.

I didn't see the problem also but reading the beginning of this thread is thought i was the only one who thought that
i thought as usual it was because i'm french and that i missed something because of the language

Well, in Rodekill's case at least, he's hoping to make lovers.  

Concerning the thread.. it's not a bad idea.. maybe some rephrasing would've been good.  I think you've hit a sore spot since currently people are bashing the forums for being too unenlightening.  Anyone and everyone is welcome to make a website and devote all or part of it to AGS, the community or adventure games in general.  However, I can't promise that it'll be a hit.  Good luck, man.
