newest version of AGS? noy BETA ver.

This is gonna sound stupid, but was Ags 254 a BETA, or newer then AGS 255??? I downloaded ver 255 today, but when I go to load a game i started on 254 it displays an error---------------------------

most likely when you opened it in 255, it updated the project to 255.
then, when you opened it again it 254, it told you it was created with a newer version becuase it was already updated.
