Thats very smooth Synth! Looks much better than mine. I will adjust mine accordingly. I dont think I can use that many frames in the game. How do you make that again? In photoshop? Onion skin by making layers transparent or side by side?

I kinda prefer the old one both in style and animation, though the closed eyes are a drawback, but what synthetique did is beatiful. Damn, you are all so talented!

Hmm, I've been following your project for a while but didn't get a chance to post, do you need any help with puzzles? Cause that's basically my best area after story, and would love to help with this project. :) I don't know what puzzles you have finished and what ideas you have for others...

P.s. perhaps god should blink once in a while, say once every two steps (thus once in a walk cycle). I'm not sure if this'll work though, but god looks a bit too awake in the new version. :P
Anyway, great work!

I had an idea, to create stars (if we need to) god could use a sharp object ot make small holes in the black fabric. Just a thought. Of course this would be day 2.
Also I really like the GodHopper! Ali did a brilliant job! It could be the official transportation method for gods. Hmm, if Lucy is still supposed to hinder god's progress in the later days, he could mess with gods godhopper and thus make it useless until reapairs are done (which takes a day) and so he must find a different temporary means of transportation or borrow/steal (:P) someone else's godhopper lol. What do you think?

Oh and I was just wondering what puzzles are already one and what need work on (in the first day)?

Edit 2: This just came to me, perhaps the book you thought god gets, creation in 6 easy steps/creation for dummies (I can't choose which is better lol) perhaps the tips are vague slightly riddly instruction for the day. Umm.. And maybe as an obstacle Lucy changes the 'tip of the day' one day and confuses us into doing something else, whice is like a red herring only may be useful later on. It would be like a printed tip with handwriting drawn over it a little sloppilly to make it look like the person was in a hurry. And maybe god says: "Hmm, that's odd, I didn't know that was a part of creation.."

Btw, have you decided on a name for the game yet? I really liked Neloe's "Oh God!".

Now what was my idea?
Ah yes, maybe if god uses the Godhopper to get to the universe he's creating, on the first day there will only be one screen so maybe he will stop his vehicle in the bottom-right corner (with the brakes making a noise lol) and when he's painting it with light there could be an animation of him painting and the background gradually turns white in places, then "a few hours later"(or however long it takes) he is done. Alternatively he might just spill the paint all over and that would save time, but maybe present an obstacle later on, where he might need white paint for something and has none so he must find a different solution, and if he had painted and taken time he would have some paint left. Hmm, if there was a choice between painting and spilling, that could give the game more replay value..

Oh and btw, has anyone worked on any dialogs yet? what dialogs will be required for day one? Richard of York, The iimortals daughter (if I'm not mistaken?), and umm, who else, Lucy?

We do have an official team now, except for one missing member. Still if you want to help so much (unofficially), maybe we could let you in the secret website as an outside critic/consultant/ideabank. I'll consult with the other team members. They are already working on dialogs descriptions etc too. All on Day One yet though.

Yeah I think this is the fifth thread.

The finished product is a long way off, since we are still on Day 1 of 7. We are a making it a relaxed but determined project.

The missing member is Ali, we just cant find him anywhere and he's supposed to be finishing/coloring the backgrounds.

Good idea. Maybe we can have Him wake up in His house on Day2. Since Day one is a one day affair we can keep the house as a new location for the next day.

Yeah, the house shouldn't appear in the first day, it won't be of much use anyway. Have you found a way to get measurment/meausring tape?
