dutch adventure game creator group?

My two eurocents:

I think the Greek guys have the idea down pretty much. See the GAC homepage, you'll have to find the link yourself.

A Dutch homepage could accomplish the following:

1) Gather all games of Dutch and Belgian origin with reviews, walkthroughs, download links et cetera to show the world some Dutch craftsmanship.

2) Create a forum where Dutch and Belgians can talk (ouwehoeren) and help each other out AGS-wise in their native language. Sidenote: many here are quite comfortable with English, but think how many people aren't yet share the same passion for adventure games?

3) Create a forum to unite all Dutch-speaking fans of the good old adventure games by Sierra, Lucasarts and so on.

4)You think of some more good uses...

And Hueij, thanks for the compliment and you're right we should get serious about it, but please, nobody stop making jokes!

I'm going on vacation soon, so I'm not here to help get something off the ground, but seeing as this thread is getting pretty ancient, I'll guess by the time I'm back there's plenty to do.

but I don't agree with you fully, although I wouldn't mind if you set it up like that, in my mind the TBS, would be a group of people who make AGS games. The website is the place where you could download the TBS games and see some screenshots n animations. Like Gaspop or the FOY website.

We don't need no forum as far as I'm concerned, we have agsforums. I don't want to make any kind of distance to AGS in any way.

Nice to hear that there are other dutch Ags-ers on this forum. I really like the idea Dydo, but do understand the choice of N3Tgraph. I think that it is best to choose a 'gulden middenweg'   between those two. I am currently workin on my first dutch game. So maybe, if people think it's worth it, we can help eachother translate games etc. So count me in.

Yeah, I totally agree. We can't use, CJ's forums to discuss our own games (that are i production). What should be the point of that. Just like jetxl said: I think that the forum should be used to work together, and we can talk in our native language. What should be the point of a dutch group anyway if we dont have a forum were we can speak in our own language. I DO think that the site definetly should be in English.

Nog iets, hoe we in vredesnaam in Nederland aan complete oude spellen komen. Illegaal downloaden is voor mij geen optie. Niet uit principes , maar omdat ik de stemmen erbij wil.

Def what?! What did I do? Ik zie dat we d'r nogsteeds mee bezig zijn. Ik vind dat we wel een forum moeten hebben, waar we gewoon in het Nederlands posten. Dus n3t schiet op met die site, wat je er ook opgooit Enne, Dydo, wat voor games had je in gedachten? Er is geloof ik een gamepack met DOTT, FT, en nog eentje. MI2 ofzo. En anders zou je ze via internet bij een shop in het buitenland kunnen bestellen denk ik. Misschien amazon?
