Just a suggestion, but I think that if we have to pay for lodgings, that the U.S. AGSers combine their efforts so that travelers from abroad don't have to pay for room and board (as their air fare will most likely be more expensive anyway).

I completly agree, I'm looking into free lodging and such, or just seeing how much it would be for me to take care of the cost here in Maryland.
- Oh great, I'm stuck in colonial times, tentacles are taking over the world, and now the toilets backing up.
- No, I mean it's really STUCK. Like adventure-game stuck.

Where could you travel to: Not really sure, but I have some relatives in the US, around the Washington area. (Seattle, I think.) We've also been talking about going somewhere to the states next summer, so it might not be a completely impossible task...
Where would you like Mittens to be: I don't know. Anywhere is fine, really.

Nacho

Ohhh... It´s too soon for thinking in mittens again, one year time is a lot. I may have a work, or I may be marrying my girlfriend, or running the Tour of France, but...

New York should be a perfect place.

Providence... where Lovecraft lived, should be also suitable for adventure game players... We could look for Illsmouth, to see the shadow of the comet...

I´ll try to join, but I would like to know... vould we bring girlfriends? Goldmund... what about bringing Dominika?
Are you guys ready? Let' s roll!

Nyah, I would have to stop eating for 4 months to afford the trip to America, so I think we should arrange the sharing thing on the european basis, Farlander.

Name: Mitchell Shelton
Age: 29
Email: go to my website
Where you live: Columbus, OH -- USA
Where you could travel to: Anywhere that my truck can go.
Where you would like Mittens to be: Anywhere that my truck can go. That's not as many places as one might think. It's a rig and my plan is to get routed to the general direction of mittens. Upstate New York would be fine for me, it seems that most people are leaning toward that. Florida would be even better. Someplace too remote would be impossible for me, it needs to be near a decent sized city with at least a WalMart in it.
Can you help locate places in your area for places to stay?: Since there is a 90% chance I won't even be in my area I can't. However financial contribution is a possibility for me. In the event that someone else finds lodging and we decide to ease the cost to those coming from overseas I could probably help out by then.

I will try to come. I don't know anything about my situation next summer, I could be married with four children and a full-time work, and I could be in america running for president.
That's the two main alternatives I can see at the moment.
But I'll try my best.

Felipe

Well, I really want to come, just don't know if I'll have the "time" ($$$) for it... :-\
Anyway, in any case:

Name: Felipe Andrade
Age: 17 (18 on teh... 13!!!1 ;D )
Email: felipe85@terra.com.br
Where you live: Santana do Livramento (RS) - Brazil
Where you could travel to: Depends on my "time" ($$$)
Where you would like Mittens to be: Anywhere. Traveling is always good (if you have the "time" :) )
Can you help locate places in your area for places to stay?: Er... this would be quite... difficult, I'm afraid. :-\

That's it!
-Felipe
Don't blame me - I didn't know it!   (I have the feeling this will come handy...)

Matt Brown

hey, the odds of me actually being able to spend the whole week at mittens are nil. However, I am going on a rather large tour of parts of the country this summer, hitting colleges to determine which ones I want to go to...so, if mittens happens to be around one of those areas, I can stop by. Plus, I'd like to help out any way I can

Name: Matt Brown
Age: 17 by next mittens
Email: Pandaman424@yahoo.com
Where do I live: Central Ohio, America
Where could I travel to: Here are the locations on my Tour: Upstate NY, (RIT), Washington DC (American) Virgina (UVA), FLorida (Palm beach area...to see grandpa. not for colleges) Provo Utah (family, and BYU) and finally, Iowa (grinnel) so...if I happen to be in the neighborhood around mittens, I'll stop in and say high
Where would you like mittens to be: Personally, since the odds are pretty small that I'll be a part of it, I guess I really cant say. It would be nice if it was somewhere around any of the places I listed.
Can I help: I'll do anything I can. You dont want mittens in Ohio, but if I can help out, I'll do what I can
