Thanks, I knew about the F7 thing and finding the folder just didn't understand the winsetup biz. Much appreciated :)

My monitor as most laptop users would encounter is 16:9 aspect ratio or 16:10 so the 4:3 that I am designing it to be looks weird when expanded. I haven't used the setup thing yet, does that allow you to decide the size at which the game will be played? (I'll give the setup a bash now, I have just been using the compiled .exe so far) As long as there is one way to get it to work at the right size I am happy.

I want to use an image that I have created using the main character on the right talking to a group of people on the left, something like this:

_______

how do I:

A) not have the usual cursor appear (walk, look, interact, talk etc.) and instead just have a single dialog clicking cursor (normal arrow cursor) available?
B) make the characters not defined as characters but as hotspots that interact with each other?
C) remove the usual animated character or make him invisible in this interaction?

I want a game I am making to stay windowed, as when it expands to full screen with the compile .exe file it it could go to any size depending on the monitor of the player, thus throwing off the aspect ratio and the graphics that I have made when I only want it to be the size I make it. AGS is fine in the editor mode but the .exe is never the size I want it to be.

What is the solution to either keep the game in windowed mode with the default resolution eg: 800x600 or to have it so that when it expands the window to full screen it leaves it at 800x600 and just blacks out the area surrounding the game?
