maybe they're confused and when they walk away the servent turns into like some kinda slime monster and laughs at them while they're walking away. or he wants to take them but they're afraid of flying. i dunno.

EDIT: maybe they came on bikes and he can't fit them in his car.. train.. whatever

good background the only thing that bugs me is outside the window. unless the room is actually on its side and that window is a birdseye veiw of a path. i think it just needs tilting down slightly and it'll be fine. Here this is the kind thing i'm talking about:

what res is your game? you know when your import the pictures you can actually make them for a specific res by checking one of the two boxes at the top of the import window. hope that helps

thanks for your help. I got the item to swtich on just fine now. but when i tried to have another 'run-script' option in my dialog i messed up again. i wanted the characters view to change at the end of the conversation and I've got this in my script:

function dialog_request(int value) {
if (value==1) {
ObjectOn (4);
if (value==2) {
SetCharacterView (JAY, 4);
}
}
}

nothing happens, the veiw does not change.

this is driving me crazy. i want an object to turn on at the end of the conversation. in my dialog script i have put:

run-script 1

and in the global script i wrote this from scatch:

#sectionstart dialog_request// DO NOT EDIT OR REMOVE THIS LINE
function dialog_request(int value) {
if (value == 1) {
//ObjectOn (4)
}
}
#sectionend dialog_request// DO NOT EDIT OR REMOVE THIS LINE

But nothing happens? any help is apreciated
