No worries!  I just didn't want you to think I'd bailed on you, so I figured it would be worth checking.

Plus, I'd forgive you for getting distracted: the new screens look amazing!

It's looking great Daz!  Really nice progress, can't wait to play it!  :-D

I'm assuming either you didn't receive my last email or I haven't received yours?
There may be an issue with one of our email accounts.

Congratulations Misj!  :-D
Well deserved.

What fun!! I can't wait for the next one. Obviously I'm just starting but hey, what better way to practice and improve! :)

Just thought I'd mention that all these pointers are really, really helpful and interesting, and I'm sure they've helped LostTrainDude immensely, because they've helped me, and this isn't even my background!  I'm taking these tips over to any future backgrounds I'm creating!

Thanks guys!  :-D

Misj, wow. Amazing entry :)

I should mention, as this is my first background and whatnot, I'd love some critique on my entry (maybe PM me to keep this thread on topic?)

Excellent work everyone! :)

Nice work oraxon! :)

Here's my entry.  I'd have loved to have spent more time on it, but I didn't get onto this until later.  Ah well, I like the idea! :)

It's an underwater colony, encompassed in a giant dome.  How else would you live underwater? ;)

Cool entry!

I'm hoping to get a background in by the 1st!  3 days by my time, I can do it! :)

*Spot reserved for entry*

EDIT: Entry is now guaranteed!  Finishing up tonight and posting tomorrow :)

There we go! :)
Sorry WHAM!

>Unhook the IV bag from the stand so we don't keep dragging it around,

>Grab the syringe and morphine and wait for a more learned AGSer to jump in and say how much is a safe amount of morphine to take. We is in pain!

Congratulations on completing your game! :)

Will download, and play when I have the time, looks good!

Well done :)

>Search for that steak you promised us earlier! Nom!  :D

Is that an open medkit I see?
Whatever it is, it's worth taking a look if we're up to it :)

>Slowly crawl over to what appears to be maybe a medkit and examine for something to alleviate the PAIN

you will notice there is no entry point for the bullet on the guy's head so it sh/could be just a grazing shot that destroyed parts of the helmet...

I noticed this too.  But that's a lot of blood if it's just a graze, no?
That being said, the blood might just be part of the drama! ;)

Welcome aboard, Joshy! More players are always welcome and if you've taken the time to read all 35 pages of previous posts, that is just insanely awesome of you!  8)

I think it just goes to show you've taken the time to create a really engaging game!  I lay in bed all day one day reading through these on my laptop, it kept me in bed until about 2pm!

Anyway, now I'm looking forward to actually getting involved.   :)

Although I'm technically new here, I've been reading this whole thread and I just think this is the coolest idea and since a new chapter is beginning I'd like to join in once it does!

But like Eric said (and having read the whole thing myself!), I agree it would be too cruel to not continue this story to the end :)

This is a really cool theme!

I wish I hadn't only just started with AGS, so I'd be able to create a game in this theme!

Maybe I'll give myself a two month deadline and just create it for personal gain :)

Hey everyone!

I'm Josh, I've recently registered on the forums, but you could say that I'm not new here!  I've been reading for years actually, haha so I feel as though you're all sort of old friends, even though YOU don't know ME!

Well I finally decided to register because now that I've got enough experience in 3D programs (I use modo) I'll probably be able to create a game, and I've also recently purchased a Wacom Pen and Touch, so I'll be able to create far better 2D digital paints in photoshop now! :)

Also, I've just started helping DazJ out with music for his game :D

Hopefully I can become a valued member of this community, as I absolutely adore the friendly vibe you guys have here.  It's all super inspiring.  I love it.

Anyway, cheers, you'll see some of my stuff around the forums soon hopefully :)

Joshy.
