So first, several versions ago, pumaman puts a joke option called make my game with joke options and when you press ok the program 'laughes' at you for choosing those options.
this has offended at least one person (who posted a complaint about this not so long ago)
ok.. so it was a small joke which really wasnt that big and offensive.. ok...

but now, CJ  puts another 'joke'. the 'joke' is that when you try to open the program on 25/12 it gives a dumb message (which some find amusign and funny, but that's not the point) and closes the program. hence : ags disables itself. i dont know if pumaman just put it only on this year and he is gonna remove this from next versions for good, it does not matter.
oh and the 'change the date' thing : an average user can't figure it out.
i guess the joke could still be called mildly annoying if it just put the message and let the program continue starting. but it doesnt.
How would you feel if your operating system just chose some random day in the year on which it would not start?! well that's exactly the same thing. I bet some people are gonna leave AGS because of this (they wont post or anything, but they'll leave).
i think pumaman gone a bit too far this time. waaaay too far.
and yes, i understand this is a free service and bla bla bla so im NOT complaining, im advising pumaman to limit his jokes to silly unworking options or even although the regular boardies will stay, many others will leave.

edit : oh and just to clarify : this isnt a troll or a flame if you can't figure it out yourself  

i found a bug that is UBER-minor but it bugs me and i'd like to see it fixed... it wont take more than 1 minute to fix!

when you scroll through the different menus (character, inventory, rooms....) with the arrow keys, and you get to the GUI option, the screen focus goes from the menu to the option list thingie! it's really annoying cause im a keyboard guy... sorry for incovinience

now sound worked to me semi-fine (i had to change the options a lil' bit) since the winAGS files. but in ver. 2.56d (last one i had before that is 2.54) it seems like the game crashes first time when i run the game with sound. it doesnt even display the sound init error, just heavily crushes.
I dont know which details to give so tell me if i didnt say something:

im using win98, VIA PCI audio controller as sound card. im sorry but i cant download the new beta to check if it continues. (but i haven't found a sound-comptibility fix i think..)
