I never thought...that one phone call could change your life forever, but I was wrong..
You see..Earlier this year, before i started school again...something happend...I caught my girlfriend, well ex-gf now, sleeping with somebody else.  She told me to never tell or she would kill me.  On my way home I was jumped by three people...I broke one of them's jaw, and stabbed another...The person who I had stabbed had been my best friend in the world..He was like a brother to me.  Last night I got a phone call from his parents saying that he had passed away.  The reason of death: The knife wound.  They told me that he wanted me to know he was sorry.  I don't think anybody could be as sorry as I am.  Last night, I tried to shoot myself, but the gun jammed.  I don't know whether to think of it as a sign, or to try it again.  I started this topic because, somehow telling all this to you guys (and girls) and getting it off my chest makes me feel a bit better.  Im sorry for rambling on, but thank you for atleast taking the time to read this.  I hope none of you EVER have something like this happen to you

I'd just like to tell you guys that i got a new job.  I write webpages for TafComp IT Solutions' clients.  yay! I need the money

I use to use ags alot, but i've gotten away from it.  But now that im starting another game, i forgot how to use a "user" name in speech.  I use a GUI with a textbox at the start, so the user can input his/her name.  but now, in the 'training' section (and other sections) i need the name that the user typed into the textbox, to be part of the speech.  I've done it before, but i totally forgot how to do it  :.  I think the original way I did it involved the GetTextBoxText command, but thats all i remember.  Thanks in advance

I want to make a remake-cough*copy*cough-of an old mario side scroller.  Is it possible to create this in ags?  I've used ags for rpg's and point-and-click/text adventures, but never a side scroller.  Thanks in advance

I was wondering.  When a moderator locks off a topic, why don't they delete it so it doesn't take up space?

I'm not sure if this is the place for this post but...I think that the Telport to room debug functionneeds to be changed to a teleport to room at specific coordinates debug function.  Just a thought

I just put ScummVM on my Zire 71 palm, and was wondering is there anygood games for it that I don't have to pay for, and if so where can I download them?  I haven't used ScummVM on computer even, so I'm new.  I have used other emulators though...Anyway I need help :o 8)

Well, this is lame...School starts for me in 9 days.  I'm going into 10th grade and well-Its too soon! Summer was kinda lame, only fun part was the fishing and riding waverunners.  When does school start for you guys, and did you enjoy the break?

Does it really hurt your eyes to look at the sun?

A guy my dad works with drives the shuttle for Brent Brown Chevorlet (where my dad works) He used to have, I think it was like 20/200 or something, bad vision and would have to wear glasses or contacts if he wanted to keep his job... He heard about some indian story wherer they would stare at the sun to improve there vision.  Well, he asked his doctor if it really was bad for your eyes to stare at the sun, and his doctor said "no" so he did it.  He stares at the sun now, ever monday at noon for just five minutes.  The weird thing is that he doesn't need glasses or contacts anymore.  Infact during a recent eye exam he came out with BETTER then 20/20 vision.  I want to read up about it a little more, and maybe even try it for myself

p.s. not one of his six kids need glasses or contacts either
