This is my first background, i did it with paint in about 1 hour. I'd really appreciate any c&c you can give to help me improve it.



I wanted to make the whole background affected by moonlight, that's why i used all these grey-ish colours, but it looks rather flat and i think the ground and mountains lacks some details/texture, any idea?

I really like enchanted forests and cartoony backgrounds but i prefer haunted mansions, foggy graveyards etc... so i came up with this idea:

Subject : Creepy Night
Size : 320x200
Colours : Hand drawn bg, pixel artists and photoshop-ers are welcome so no colours limit.

I hope you'll get inspired by the subject, please let me know if you'd like to change it.

Hi all,

I was trying to draw a tall sprite and here's the result:



I'm quite satisfied with his head and arms but i know the body needs some work.
I can't figure out what to do with his weird right shoe..
I also 'tried' to add shading but really need some ideas because it doesn'look good that wayÃ, 

Any other c&c or improvements are welcome!

Based on ProgZmax's edit, i just shaded the shirt differently and made his arms and shoulders a bit stronger, i'd also need to make muscles appear on his arms but i don't know how.
