Hey, I was wondering if anyone was having a similar problem with Google. Whenever I search it takes a really long time and freezes the browser for like 15 seconds. It only seems to happen in internet explorer, cuz it works fine when I do it with another browser. IE doesn't have a problem loading any other sites either. I have run as much anti-spyware stuff as I can, and I don't know what the cause of this is. Does anyone know what is going on? Thanks

It's sort of a thinking game, everything in the game means something, even if it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I hope it's comprehensible.
A few comments:
The game is in 640x480 16 bit color, so I hope it doesn't go really slow. Some things are timed to the music so you might not get the full effect if you have a slower computer.
I think the music is what I'm most proud of in the game. In some instances I wrote the music first and then added stuff to fit it.
Graphics have often held me back so I just gave up drawing all together and did a bunch of photo-editing. It was actually pretty fun!

Sorry it took so long, but it's finally here! Ok, hopefully you guys will like this. This weeks contest is to score for a short horror film video.

Beginners' Technical Questions / 256 col. palette problem

Ok, my game's in 256 colors, and I'm using the latest version of AGS (2.55 I guess it is), but that doesn't really have anything to do with it since it's been an issue in every version I've used.
When I import something with black in it, it always shows up as slightly gray, which really stands out against black background pictures (which are pure black), and I need the pictures to blend together. Is there something I should do to the palette or something? Maybe import the graphics differently?

Alrighty, new rules:
*Music must be of some other origin than Western music (although I will accept folk music styles from Western culture)
*Instruments will be restricted to ethnic instruments with the exception of these orchestral instruments:
flute, oboe, violin (fiddle), harp, percussion
-ask if you have any questions about this-
*Please try to stay away from jazz, blues, rock and the like
*This is not a rule, but extra points for modal music (if you don't know what this is, you can probably find an explanation online somewhere)
*File size is limited to about 1 megabyte
Have fun!
