Reserved for an entry and I really want to actually enter this time(sorry about the reserved spot for the last one when I didn't enter).

I'm confused, what kind of image do you want? I mean photoshopping or with a different program something Valentine's related but the description is so vague I'm not quite sure what you're looking for. I know it sounds silly me asking as I yet to enter this competition but I am really wanting to(even if as I suspect it will suck, at least it'll be an attempt, I used superimposing for a media project I had in year 12 over here in Australia and it took months to finish and even then it didn't look as good as I wanted it to but at least I got a B and earned it! Even if I got some help at the end from a teacher!). Sorry for going off topic there.

Will this wonderful competition continue or fade?

Unsure, I have only a bare understanding of HGTTG so I wouldn't know how to write a story with the second theme but it does sound interesting! Perhaps a little idea about how to go about it might help because both ideas are good.

I thought all the ads were funny but Eggie really got me with the whole Microsoft issue, so next round's on him.

Well voting ended today and it's a complete tie for all the entries. So basically all entries are winners and any of the entrants may start the next competition if they want. So if any of them are interest please reply so you can start the next one.

I thought all the entries were very moving but A better time was the one that did so the most for me so that's my vote.

What is a Photoshop Phursday?

Photoshopping isn't drawing a completely new image -- It's editing images to create a new image, such as editing one image or combining several images. The contest usually lasts for a fortnight. Also, you don't have to specifically use Photoshop -- Paint Shop Pro, MSPaint, or any other programs can be used. Please make sure your image doesn't exceed the width of the screen.

Many Hollywood actors do commercials for practically anything these days, even doing hilarious ones in places like Japan, hoping others outside wont see it, of course youtube has easily proved that wrong.

Anyway this time around do a picture of an ad including well a known actor or actress selling something crazy or something normal but in a crazy way.

I have what I hope is good idea for the next theme so I'll volunteer to start the next comp if you like. If you want to know the idea before deciding send me a pm and I'll let you know.

I haven't entered any of the runs of this comp because I'd use GIMP for it(it's not the program, more my skills, etc.) and from previous experience I find it very difficult to do nearly as good a job as the entries I've seen but I do want to enter eventually if I can make a decent image.

Ok, basically a short story based around either a fictional memory or memories(in the latter case basically relating to each other). It's the main part of the story, it's what it's about, for example a story about a man who is talking about the death of his wife and his vivid memory of her dying in his arms or someone talking about a party that happened and memories his friend had of it. It could be written in the first of 3rd person.

Like most of the recent runs of this competition, there isn't a limitation as such, aside from the theme needing to fit with the story, the story is fictional and it being in the format of a story.

Still no interest it seems, what's happened to this competition?

I'll ask for the competition to be delayed. I wasn't aware of the competition.

Well I was hoping my first running of this contest would at least generate some interest but it's been days and no responses of any type. I really want this competition to work so I'd appreciate any feedback on what may have caused this lack of interest. Was it the theme, is this just a reality that this competition is going out of style(I really hope that's not it!), etc. Perhaps because I wasn't able to make trophies for the winners. Honestly I've never seen such a lack of interest in any of the previous rounds so I'm bewildered as to why this one has.

Okay the theme is Vivid memory or memories, basically the restriction is the  memory or memories need to be real in the story.

I'm not doing trophies myself because my pixel making is crap but if somebody wants to that's fine. 12 days for writing, 2 for voting.

Alright, I'll start the next one tomorrow. Just need to think up a good idea.

My vote goes to rock_chick (contrary so Krayy I do not like morality tales, but it's very well written.)

It's only partly a morality tale but it's meant to more be about following the path you wanted for yourself and not for someone else's cause when it isn't even what that person would have wanted.
