Well, I see on Akella's website, that game disc costs 315 roubles, which is right about $10.
Keep in mind this is a retail version sent by a third party mail order company. If you check publishers prices you'll see that recommended price is 237 roubles, about $7.5, Akella sells it to distributors for 158-163 roubles, about $5. Subtract a $1 for packaging and printing.

Downloadable version cost 180 roubles - i.e. $6. As downloadable service is held by Akella itself (as far as i know), you can assume they don't pay 30% for placing a game there.

As for 10 000 copies... Well, I think our publishers always plan to sell not less then 10K. Just keep in mind, Russia has about 150M people. Though it was a bit risky with an indy game, I must admit.

Akella has a downloadable review version (at least mine is) so there's a quicker way than to wait post delivery. :-) In fact I've completed the game and was playing through it again writing a walkthrough trying to minimize walking in the hotel and in the town when encountered this (possible) dead end. The review is also on its way.

I think I've also found a dead end in the game.
Spoiler
I've killed three Sophies, the only one alive is in room 402. Then I've killed Agness. Now I can't kill the last Sophie as I don't have neither chainsaw (studio is still closed and the mannequin head is there), nor rifle shells (Agness died). Agness can't reappear because I can't have nightmares any more.

I can mail a save if you need to investigate the problem, but it is a Russian retail version by Akella so don't know if savegames will be compatible. BTW, the glitch described above in this forum:
QuoteAfter you explode the second Sophie, if you go straight to the broken mirror room rather than the room where the second Sophie was, there will be a cutscene showing the mirror breaking and when you will regain control, you'll be stuck in a wall in the previous room and you won't be able to move anymore. Loading the last savegame is the only way out of this situation.
is also present in the Russian version of the game. I left clicked on the left exit from the mirror room and my protagonists just teleported to that room being able to walk etc so I didn't have to reload the last savegame.
