It's not the greatest paintover, but it'll give you a little direction.

The black lines didn't set right with me. And I added a little detail and shape-change, also some shading and pupils and hands. Took about five minutes to make it look less flat.

Nice work though! Hope to see another edit from you soon.

Very nice edit. Also, I'm gonna start a different character next, at least until I get good enough at drawing pixel art.

Oh and get rid of the double pixels on the outlines would be a START (double pixels are where there are 2 pixels next to each other. On the arms mainly.

I'd suggest you to take more time, and look at other videogame sprites. It's how we all learned.

Okay. Sorry about the double outlines, I re sized the dude. Al so he means nothing. Just a dude with his shirt off lol, abit fat.

I hope this is the right thread. Well, can anyone send me like a sample of a character? I draw my character's heads too big, body too big, ect. Help with this please.
EDIT: Also, the shapes are weird. Btw, I use Graphics Gale.

I didn't know ArtGem has layers. And I'll try that, animating with Graphics Gale and drawing with ArtGem.

I'm making a high res game instead of a low res one, anyways. Here is my test background for it.

This problem is solved. The blue cup thing stopped when I just restarted the game. And the white block I just did what Khris said to.

Yeah, its 320x200. But I made him smaller for the game. I made him that big so people could see him better.

Ok, so I imported a alien character into AGS. And he has a white block around him, and when I move him he turns into the blue cup of AGS! How do I fix these problems?

Ok, I will try to do what you said. Shading is the last thing I do by the way.

EDIT: New front version, added some shading. And fixed a few pixels.

New and proved alien, props to my mother. She played all those Larry and King Quest back in the day.
