It likes a piece of irrigation pipe that he's wired to something.  :-\

Yeah, I had that problem with the fox when I played through it, too.

EDIT: Was reading through the walkthrough, and I just found out that

you could go into the Tailer's shop once you've escaped from the town. I was never able to do that, as everytime I clicked on his door, I'd just walk up to it but never go in. And he was open, because this was before he runs away. Possible glitch?

Spoiler
I went and showed the Truth to the princess, but the sorcerer turned me into a rabbit! I managed to evade the fox and get to the other side of the river, and I've talked to the druid, but I can't use the faerie ring. I've walked around it 3 times, both clockwise and counterclockwise, but nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?

I got the severed head from the village, and I convinced the giant to give me the crystal, but the jeweler's sitting up on the castle roof. How do I get her down?

I'm currently stuck on Day 4.

Spoiler
I bought the matches, but they keep getting wet whenever I try going into the water. How do I keep them dry? Or did I mess up, and do something I wasn't supposed to?

I remembered reading about this on the AGDI forums a long while back, and had semi-forgotten about it. Glad to see that it's finished! As of this post I'm about 60% done downloading, and I can't wait to play it!  8)

General Discussion / Re: Windows Vista SUCKS
Tue 10/07/2007 06:16:39
My dad bought a Vista computer, as it was the only thing being offered in stores, and he doesn't like buying online. Normally, it would have been a kick-ass PC, with a dual-core AMD processor, 1 Gig of RAM and an Nvidia graphics card (much as I hate them, it wouldn't have been bad for gaming). The trouble is that Vista doesn't work with anything. The slowness would seem to be from your graphics card, but Vista doesn't really work well with any program not specifically designed for it. My dad can't even access some websites because they're not configured to work with Vista yet.

I don't know anything about Linux, but if you can get a copy of Windows XP, I'd say go for it, though I don't know if MS will allow you to install it instead of Vista. And if I'm not mistaken, you can only activate a copy of XP once before you either have to shell out about 150 bucks for a new product key or buy Vista. So, if you do manage to get XP, be careful you don't end up having to restore your computer.  :(

One thing that I've been thinking of:

The people that you go after after are all made out to deserve the brutal death. They're portrayed as criminals and violent, unpleasant, horrible individuals. And if the game bothers you that much, I say don't play it. There's plenty of other material out there that's just as disturbing, if not worse. And as for violent games causing violence, I highly doubt that. I play plenty of violent games, but I'm not mentally disturbed. If anything, I think letting off steam through a video game is better then doing it in real life.

Well I like it. I think it's perfectly acceptable as concept art. And he does look like a window washer or a janitor. And the hair reminds me of Weird Al.  ;D

Eh, I prefer to keep things clean of political or other bias. Still, I suppose it is his right to make this game. Doesn't mean he won't take a lot of flak for it.

Rise of the Hidden Sun was canceled?! Aw, that's a shame! I was really looking forward to it, hope it makes a comeback!

Wait,  I do have KQ1 VGA and KQ2+, and they both work fine.

I don't have any of the more recent games installed, though I'll download one and give it a try.

The Rumpus Room / Re: Abandonware

QuoteThese include Monkey Island 1+2, Willy Beamish, and more. Their status may change in the future, but for the moment they are considered abandonware.

Serious?! If so, that's good news!
