Honestly I don't see the point.
I do. Please continue!

Me too, pretty please continue :D

I hope someday somebody does a demake Monkey Island 4 so I can finally playit.
(yes, I haven't played MI4, I hated the way, Guybrush looked there.)
I hated the control scheme.  It was too...joysticky (that sounded extremely dirty).   About the game:  It looks beautiful, but I can't really get behind the premise.  I loved COMI and fan remakes of games just don't sit right with me.  CJ gave us this wonderful tool to let our imaginations soar and it feels like a little bit of a waste to make a remake for the sole purpose of changing the look.  I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but if games, especially adventure games, are to be taken seriously as an artistic medium, we need to use original material as much as possible.

On the subject on incest it's not *that* much of a problem from a breeding perspective.

Studies show only about a 4-6% increased chance of significant birth defects in the first generation. *after* the first generation it becomes much higher.

But the chances of birth defects are raised significantly higher in other *legal* pairings.

For example, 2 parents with recessive genes for a certain illness have a 25% chance of passing it on. Should they be denied the chance to have a child?

I fail to see the difference.

Plus, how many people do you know who are romantically involved with a sibling?  Sure you hear about it on the news, but that's why they have it on, because it's unique.  It seems like incest laws affect a very small amount of the population, where as same sex marriage laws affect not only the 10% of people who are gay, but also their families and friends.

Prog, you live in Arizona?  So do I!  I posted the terrible Arizona Federal commercials he did earlier in this thread.  He had no shame when it came to his roles and that was one of the awesome things about him.

I'm thinking of building a glass house and then throwing things at people, just to rebel against the proverb.

In laptop chargers the positive wire is inserted into the negative, for grounding purposes.  This makes the negative very brittle, being only a few strands thick.  It's an engineering problem, but it's sleeker looking than two wires side by side, and it allows the company to profit from replacement chargers, since they're not part of most limited warranties.

The best thing to do is to get some sugru to cover it up with.  It's an insulator and pretty cheap, too.

He lived in Arizona at some point and did these terrible commercials for this local insurance company.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHqfh5wMbp0  The nation Shirley mourns for him.

I'm available if you need a voice actor, beta tester, someone to help with story flow or dialogue flow, or even someone to just brainstorm ideas with.

Hello, everyone!  I'm not really a newb, but I haven't been around here in years.  I used to use the handle Quikstrike.  I used to be real active in the RoTN community as well.  I'm glad to see Dave Gilbert is doing well for himself with Wadjet Eye Games.  Now, I've returned, 6 years older, 6 years wiser, and 6 years not a 14 year old kid trying to fumble his way through programming.  To all the people who were around then, thanks for putting up with me, I hope I didn't act like a typical 14 kid.

I'm from Arizona, I just turned 21 a few weeks ago, and I'm enrolled at the University of Advancing Technology for a Degree in Robotics and Embedded Systems.
